is it possible to add signatures?
I have found option in profile config to enable it but no option to set it for my account.
I have found some discussion form 2007.
Is it true signatures are still disabled from 2007?
Yes. Disabled.
Is there any special reason for that ?
or just disabled because it is disabled?

No. We have reasons not to enable them.
However, our team has proposed a special user group, with an annual fee, for people who think signatures are important.
On the other hand, since no one has ever indicated they are will to pay an annual fee, we think signatures are not important.

Personally, I'd like to have a signature (though it's not something that I *really* need).
What about text-only signatures? Would that be an option.

So, that means that if we create a new user group called "Signatures" and a one year subscription for $89.00 USD, you are willing to pay around $7 -$8 or so a month for a forum signature?
We will use the "Signature" money to help pay for our "badly needed" server upgrade.
