we have a sun fire 6800 server .
i am trying to change he password on my system controller but whenever i type the command password to change it i directly get :
"
Enter current password:
Invalid password."
i really neadd to change this password for auditing purpose .

When you have physical access to a server, simply mount the root disk in another machine and edit the password file.
It is just that simple.
If you do not have physical access, then we will assume you are a hacker and breaking the law. Hacking (cracking) is against our forum rules and a crime.
My apologies but the OP needs to have the sc admin password reset --- not the host's root password. Anyways, here's what I found through Google ...
