i did a search for "sale" but didn't see anything... so here's my suggestion.
how about adding a "for sale" thread... for... well the sale of some equipment that people want to get rid of and buy?
i think thats what ebay is for.
i know some forums have for sale sections, but i think that would take away from what this site is ment for IMHO.

If you want to by or sell "things" , eBay is the place to go.
the Sharky Forums have a buy/sell section. Last I checked, anyway...

Oh come on now. Suggestions are very welcome. That does not imply that every suggestion will be implemented.
I think the underlaying idiologies of this forum prevent commercial activities. This effectively kills the 'one-stop-shop' thing, but if you have questions, we probably have answers. or vice versa.
Correct, these are non-commercial forums. Buy and selling are commercial activities.
