CUPS and SAMBA

Hello everyone !
I really need your help .

I am working on a project where there are windows 10 clients. And I want to use CUPS as a printing server which will be installed on an Unix machine in order to control various print jobs.
My question is : If I will only use use CUPS without installing SAMBA, will the windows clients be able to send print request to the CUPS server or not ?

According to the following tutorial you do not need SAMBA
