Contact Form not displaying as it should

First of all, kudos on the new web design. Looks good.

I have some HTML that i'm trying to incorporate into my web site.
It works well. The problem is that I cannot "move" around the web site with the mouse as I once could.

     <!-- section 6 -->
     <div class="section-6-container section-container section-container-image-bg" id="section-6">
     <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=IBM437">
     <input id="clickMe" type="button" value="BBS Terminal" onclick="handleLinkClick('link1');" >
     </meta>
     <!-- Section 7 -->
     <div class="section-7-container section-container section-container-image-bg" id="section-7"></div>

    <div>Contact Form</div>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <div class="center">
      <form action="https://somesite.com/someuser@somesite.com" method="POST">

        <div class="txt_field">
          <input type="text" name="name" id="name" required>
          <span></span>
          <label>Full Name</label>
        </div>

        <div class="txt_field">
            <input type="text" name="email" id="email" required>
            <span></span>
            <label>Email</label>
        </div>

        <div class="txt_field">
          <input type="text" name="message" id="message" required>
          <span></span>
          <label>Message</label>
        </div>

        <div class="pass">
            <input class="pass" type="reset" value="Reset">
        </div>

        <input type="submit" value="Submit">
        <input type="hidden" name="_template" value="table">

        <div class="homePage_link">
        <a href="#">Back to Home page</a>
        </div>
      </form>
    </div>
<style>

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong? I'm new (at least a semi-newb) to HTML.

Thanks.

Glad you like the new Jet Cockpit design.

The first thing that jumps out is this syntax issue:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=IBM437">
...
</meta>

The <meta> tag is self-closing and should only appear in the <head> section, not inside the body of your HTML. Placing it in the body can interfere with page rendering or even break mouse interaction in some cases.

Friendly suggestion: run your HTML through a syntax checker or your favorite AI assistant before posting — it’ll save you (and others) time and head-scratching.

Cheers.

Thank you, sir. Sorry for the late reply. I was able to get it working.

I'll mark this post as solved.
