New to ws2003 standard edition. I configured this server to be a domain controler, terminal services server and the cal server as well. I added users and joined them to the remote desktop users group. Still cant log in as a configured user. I get the erro message that this user needs to join the remote desktop users group. Any Ideas?
There are 3 things you need to do to enable users to TS to a windows box:
- Enabled TS =) either in admin or application mode...(admin if you dont have licenses)
- Add the user to the remote desktop users group
- Grant non-admin users the access to "logon locally" this is done via secpol.msc
