Windows scp built in command

Is there a way to check if windows scp built in command is accepting your keyboard input? When I see this message and type yes it keeps repeating itself. When I type in my password it keeps telling me invalid password. I know my password is right because I can login to to putty, winscp, and notepas ++ ftp extension.

RSA key fingerprint is SHA256:Mfd4K3s/R+eT3ZnL0UXQlNfry9KvEvsSrMgXMlJ4YBw.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/[fingerprint])?

Hello @cokedude,

It would be helpful to know what command you ran and if your Windows username matches the target username.
