Anywhere we able to get EIS-DVD or it is only for Sun partnership company? Is it copyrighted.
EIS-DVD is for sun internal and partner use only.
If without EIS-DVD. Can we process install SunSolaris ourselve?
It is EIS-DVD is just for latest patching. Is it necessary update.
the eis-dvd is an internal tool with programs and patches for field engineers. you can install solaris without any problems...
Of course you can install Solaris with no issues. provided you have a valid contract, you can sign up online for Sunsolve and download the recommended patches for patching as well. Firmware for the h/w can be downloaded too. EIS dvd is a restricted copy.
Can we apply EIS-DVD from Sun? It has any requirement.
you can get access to EIS-DVD if you've a large service contract and/or if you've a sun onsite engineer... or you've to become a sun certified partner...
