Where do I start to learn PERL?

What is the best way to start learning PERL? Are there any "learn-it-yourself" websites? Beginner books? etc...

also check man perl for a list of all other perl manuals like man perlre.

I used this when I took a course on Perl... easy to read and covers all the basics of the language...
