Its been a while since we had any fun polls or interesting topics in this forum.
So, here I start a thread rather calling it as a question - " What do you do during weekends ? "
For many, on hearing the term - weekends should excite them
for ( few ) some - uhhh .. its just another day ...
and few would use them for revitalizing their cells for the upcoming next week.
So just post about, what do you do ? even if you don't do anything - post that you don't do anything
( I heard somebody asking me this question - oh yeah, thats to me - I will post it after some time :rolleyes: )
It depends. If there's a good movie in, we'd go watch that. Sometimes I go running (longer than my daily run). Mostly weekends are devoted to waking up late and having the morning cuppa instead of lunch
I run Shadowrun (role playing game) every other Sunday and Wednesday. Right now I'm playing All Flesh Must Be Eaten (another RPG) on alternate Wednesdays.
I have it scheduled so on call is the same weekend as Sunday game days. I'll bring my laptops (work and Mac) and gaming gear. Saturday is about a third, preparing for Sunday's game. The rest is working on the house or yard or computer stuff, or other stuff that comes up.
When I'm _not_ on call, my wife and I'll go out and do stuff. Last month we hiked up to Crater Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness.
I used to love playing that back in my student days. We'd take over one of the meeting rooms in the student union building and sit up to our eyeballs in pizza, softdrink and game manuals Ah, good times... Haven't played any RPGs (aside from the video games) in _years_ now.
