Do we have concepts of volume groups in solaris like we have in Linux(command: vgdiplay) and AIX(command: lsvg).
If yes, then what commands/ files can give details for same.
it depends on which volumemanagement you are using... there is ZFS and SDS. or also veritas volumemanager.
its native volume manager i.e. sun solaris volume manager
have a look at the "metaset" command.
do you mean disk set in solaris is nothing but what is named as volume groups in other OS.

What commands/ files could have this information.
metaset and metastat does not hold this information ?
