M running solaris 10 u8 my vncserver is running on :0 .. and when i try to connect it through tight vncview i can see just see the screen .. with no terminal .. what could be the issue for it ? and what i need to check for it ?
Do you notice this issue with tightvncviewer only ?
Is your ~/.vnc/xstartup correctly configured?
try adding in your $HOME/.vnc/xstartup
user@hostname# more xstartup
#!/bin/sh
# Enable below given line for CDE which is not appreciated in new releases.
# /usr/dt/bin/dtsession &
# The Java Desktop Environment
/usr/bin/gnome-session &
for CDE, enable line with dtsession
