V210 USB Dvd Rom

Is there anyway to get a USB DVD ROM to work on a V210/V240/V440 SPARC systems for initial installation? I'm drawing a blank and I can't seem to find any documentation on this.

this DVD can be used with v201/240 , please take a look at the text snippet

USB ports
Two USB ports provide a convenient way to connect a keyboard and mouse to Sun Fire V210 and
Sun Fire V240 servers as well as hand-held devices for configuration management. In addition,
USB-based peripheral devices supported by third parties, such as ZIP drives and printers, as well
as external CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives can be attached using the USB ports.

Solaris Ready USB FAQ says: Sparc systems with USB 2.0 support can boot from USB disks if the OBP(Open Boot Prom) is upgraded to version 4.27 or later.

But I am not sure, if "boot from USB disks" includes booting from DVD.

I probed around for the physical address of the USB drive and I tried booting only for it to say, Unable to boot from boot device.
