Hi all,
I must connect my PC (Windows 2000) to Sun Enterprise 450 (4 X UltraSPARC-II 400Mhz) for Solaris 10 Installation. My PC doesn't have a serial port therefore I must use USB port.
How can I connect USB port of my PC to the serial port (DB 25) of Sun 450?
Will be there any problems with drivers?
Will be there any problems with TeraTerm Terminal?

You probably need to install the driver that came with your usb-serial connector, once you install the driver you shud be able to connect to sun via serial cable.
use "restore defaults" with hyperterminal that comes with XP

whatever window os as long as hyperterminal. once setup you should be able to connect.
You should connect serial cable to the A/B port on the E450. Once connected to hyperterminal just press enter - enter you should see the unix login prompt, or if you previously init 0 then you will see an ok prompt
