upgrade solaris 10

I upgraded solaris 8 to 10 using live upgrade process . Now the release shown on the machine is

# cat /etc/release
Solaris 10 3/05 s10_74L2a SPARC
Copyright 2005 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Use is subject to license terms.
Assembled 22 January 2005

I understand Solaris 5/08 also is available and I have the DVD for the same . Is there any shortest way , I can make the release latest for this server with the help of this DVD .

Can you change that?
You should have used the 05/08 dvd at the first instance right?
Am I talking sense here ?:o

I found I need to run patch analyzer script in the DVD . However once I run what is the best way to run the upgrade process ie from Solaris 8 OR Solaris 10 3/05 ? . I can afford some downtime but I want to preserve my solaris 8 environment.

Will this upgrade in solaris 10 environment make solaris 8 inaccessible by virtue of any patch changes making it in-operative .

At that time the older CD's were available .Now the latest DVD is there. So want to upgrade the same.

i've never done that before anyway, thx for the sharing
