i try to instaled the sco 6 in hp proliant ML350g8
but unsucces,
the trouble when i do instaled it undetected hardisk
please help me

I am not completely surprised...
I think you would have to check what hardware you have ( sp the disk ) and look if there is no firmware update you need to apply first...
The distribution media you are using does not recognise the hard disk controller by default. You will probably need to use a 'defbootstr' at the boot: prompt to tell it to use a different disk controller driver.
Google for 'defbootstr'

I don't know whether the driver you require for the ML350g8 is on the media you are using or not, or whether you will need to download the driver and put it on a floppy/USB stick to load it in. Putting the driver name into the defbootstr will either automatically get the copy from the media or, if it's not on there, will ask you to provide it from other media during the boot/install process.
I hope that is of some small help. I'm sure you will get better answers from the SCO experts on here especially jgt when he logs in.

So I don't think that it's the hard disk it's not recognizing, it's the hard disk controller it's not seeing due to lack of driver.

i had search in hp website,there said that the hp proliant ml350g8 use the hp smart array p420i and there written OS which use the type it,then they said OS unix nothing
where i can download driver for the hp smart array p240i??
i think sco 6 isn't give the driver for the hp smart array p420i, so that it ccan't detected
of the hardisk..
i had try plug PCI smart p400 but unsuccesfull

you are trying to install 6.0.0 ?
it appears that only the p400 and not the p420 is supported.

the only hp driver is the one i referred to in post 5. if it doesn't work then you have to either change hardware or do a virtual install.
