unrar files

Hi,

I have two .rar files on unix server.

but how to unrar these files ??

Hi,

I could able to get one solution over net, in which it mentions to install "rar" utility and then copy "rar" as well as "unrar" to /bin directory, after that run the below command.

unrar e file.rar

But didnt worked out. m I missing any step over here ??
can anybody help me out please ??

Hi,

Os is Solaris10

and below is the error message:

[root@/users/mac] # unrar e FILE1.rar
-bash: /usr/bin/unrar: Invalid argument

check if the path for unrar is correct by checking "which unrar" or "whereis unrar" , and then include full path and try...

Solaris 10 sparc or x86?

you must use appropriate version..
x86 ; http://www.rarlab.com/rar/unrar-sol-intel.gz
sparc ; http://www.rarlab.com/rar/solaris8-sparc-unrar-3.3.tar.gz
