Unix with sql Server 2005

Hello All
I am getting a problem. What i want to do is to connect unix(korn shell) and sql server 2005. But it is not happening.

The task is to schedule a job using crown or something else that connect with sql server 2005 and run the query and save the result in a text file.

Is this the same computer as in this post (i.e. Windows 7, Microsoft SQL Server 2005)?

What "unix" do you have and what version is it? Is it on the same computer or on a different computer? What database client software you you have on the "unix" system?

Ps. I don't know how to do what you require and I am asking questions to try to learn something about your system and what you are trying to do.

ya i have installed SUA as per the earlier post.

And what is SUA? Not mentioned in earlier post.

search to google by typing SUA Community. You will learn more from there

I can't see any relevance between whatever software you may have installed from SUA Community and the question in post #1 . There does not seem to be a Unix Operating System, or Korn Shell, or cron, or any form of Database Client (let alone one which could connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2005).
Sorry, but this thread is a non-starter.
