unix software problem

helllo!
I work in Department of Civil Aviation. Our SSR Radar use AlphaServer 800
with unix os.Now, sever can't startup completely. Its error messages are...
Enviromental Monitoring System can't start.
kdaemon progam not running.
network name and login name don't match.

I can enter login and password. But when I typed spv1 command according to server's startup procedure , it shows ...spv abort:system stops:
So I would like to know this problem's answer..

Instead of unix OS, can you be more specific? Please post the output of uname -a (after blanking out the hostname, if required).

I am working as an engineer at Department of Civil Aviation in Myanmar. We use AlphaServer 800 5/333 for Radar System.Operating System is Unix....
Now, it shows errors during startup procedure..These errors are.....

Above errors show again and again and it startup. But it restarts within 1 min.And it shows errors...

who could explain me about that problem?

Sounds like you're having a hardware issue, but still, we cannot determine the problem without knowing the OS version. As Blowtorch asked, post output of "uname -a" command. This looks like a specific OS system core dump and we cannot be sure, but as possible move, I'd suggest that you contact the vendor.

Hi Akzin,

One of your hard drives, or the controller, has broken and will require to be replaced.

Your best option at this point would be to engage Hewlett Packard or whoever supports your system to seek a replacement. Phone HP for a quote, you can normally talk to their tech guys if you go via sales first, even if you have no support, they're quite good that way.

helllo!

when I type "uname -a " , it shows ..OSF1 CP1 V4.0 878 alpha.
Now it don't show errors after cleaning all hardwares.
Server startup normally but it restart within 5 sec..
So I would like to know how it is.
Please reply to me.
Thanks.
