I have a set of 7 Unix training course CR-Roms I'd like to sell. We get frequent posts about "How do I get into a Unix Admin career" or similar so I thought they may be of interest.
They were published by National Education Training Group, which has since been bought out by Thomson Learning. Titles of the seven courses are:
Unix Fundamentals
Unix Intermediate Topics
Unix Advanced Topics
TCP/IP Concepts and Architecture
Unix Shell Programming
SVR4 System Administration Fundamentals
SVR4 System Administration Advanced Topics
I got them in 1998, but these are general Unix courses which aren't tied to any specific version so the info is certainly still applicable. And they worked for me. They were the only training I had prior to landing my first Unix admin job, and they're still on my resume today.
I paid about $1150 back then ($150 each plus shipping and taxes). I'd be happy to take $200 for the entire set today.
