Hi,

Which version of FreeBSD are you using? I've heard that Tripwire 2.3 onwards works on FreeBSD 4.2.

 /stand/sysinstall

go to the option for adding ports and packages software, pick an ftp server \(I like ftp5, in the US\), and browse the security area, I believe that tripwire is in there \(I think I saw it in there\), and is up to date for the FreeBSD release.

 should be easy...

Just want more clear on knowledgebase regarding tripwire .

Tripwire report can tell a file being modified with comparing with baseline generated by tripwire .
Also the report show who was the one last modified the file , I want to know who information that come from where and how ?

As Unix SA I can not recall any way UNIX system had this information restored in any file or inode .

Thank you .
