t2000 Sol10 installation failure

Hi folks,

I've searched as much as possible with regards to the installation of Solaris 10 and this error that I keep getting no matter which arguments I use.

Could some one please give me some direction. All hardware tests are ok.

Of this seems to be a problem with a network card:

FATAL: no exception frames available, forcing misaligned trap
ERROR: /pci@780/pci@0/pci@1/network: Last Trap: Memory Address not Aligned

Going to try disabling the interface. Any other suggestions are appreciated

I notice you are trying to install 10u9.

I tried to patch a T2000 from 10u6 to 10u9 and it crashed on successive attempts until I flashed the OBP to the latest version.

I suggest that you check your OBP version.

Another thought is to try installing 10u6 and see if you still get the error.

Hi,

It is especially important with these systems that the Firmware, OBP and Hypervisor are upgraded on a regular basis your versions probably need updated..
