Hi all!
I have a Sun JavaStation-1 which doesn't boot: when I turn on the power switch, the power led becomes lit but the screen remains black (going in power save after about 5 seconds). 
Now my question is: could be this problem due to a dead IDPROM? 
I have this doubt because a couple of weeks ago I got the typical IDPROM corrupted error message at startup but all articles I was able to find on Internet didn't mention the initial black screen (they tell I must be able to enter OpenBoot monitor).
Does anyone have any idea or suggestion?
