Sudo Password for OpenIndiana Hipster

Hello,
i need the sudo password for openindiana Hipster.
su
it is not root.

SM

sudo password is the user's password.
There is no root user by default in OpenIndiana, you can edit /etc/sudoers to enable passwordless sudo
(Getting Started - OpenIndiana Docs)

pfexec bash

might also work, should start a root shell (with a # prompt).

thank you,
i have a LIVE CD running. from the terminal
user Jack is there.
when i type su a promt for root password is asked.
because the system is asking for a root password, there must be a root password.

OpenIndiana is a fork from OpenSolaris which is derived from Solaris open source.

So what says:

$ sudo su -

??

Does that give you a root (#) prompt? If not, what happens?
