sticky keys enable in linux

The problem is when i push button on keyboard and stay pressed i get only one letter. I want to set auto repeat of pressed character to get for example pressing a letter 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaa' instead 'a' only???
can you tell us how to enable this feature in linux????

It's enabled by default, but applications have control over whether they get it. What program are you having problems with? What's your system? What's your GUI?

No such thing as "gnome kde". It's possible to have both installed but they're not part of each other...

might be..... i dont have that much knowldge on the operating systeam and gui...
i think i'm using gnome....but can u throw some light on the GUI's and the type of programes that might effect the sticky keys.....that u were taking about ....:confused:

Depends on the GUI, and depends on the program...
