Can Solaris 10 FMA (Fault Management Architecture) be configured to work on a Solaris 10 x86 platform?
FMA is part of solaris 10 and will ALWAYS work regardless of the hardware architecture.

If you are asking about x86 vs SPARC, there is no fundamental difference as DukeNuke2 already wrote. However, whatever the architecture, what can be reported depends on whether the target component is supported or not.
If you are asking about zones, most hardware related modules aren't available in a non global zone.
