Hi guys!
Could you tell me what's the difference of filesystem of Solaris to filesystem of Windows? I need to compare both.
I have read some over the net but it's so much technical. Could you explain it in a more simpler term? I am new to Solaris. Hope you help me guys.

Solaris, similar to all UNIX/Linux operating systems can make all sorts of filesystems, so you cannot compare like that.
Comparison can be made between, for instance, ZFS and NTFS.
It's all about features and reliability of certain filesystem, what you require and in some filesystems how much cash have you got.

For example, ZFS in Solaris is NTFS in Windows.
Or UFS in Solaris is FAT in Windows.
Can you tell me what are them?

um, both of them? they are all filesystems.
but since NTFS is a bit newer/better/more_advanced/now_default compared to FAT (just like ZFS compared to UFS), perhaps that one would be counterpart as you said.
btw, you didn't say which Solaris/Windows version. some older use UFS/FAT
this looks like homework and is going in a windows vs. unix direction. thread closed.
