Solaris 10 on Enterprise 4500 install problem

Good day,

I am dummie on solaris and trying learning about Solaris, so no much experience, this is my problem, I got enterprise 4500 SUN Sparc hardware, has 2 internal SCSI HD, when I try to install Solaris 10 says that "no disk found" at middle of installation, I already change the HD and the HD's board, still the same error, then at the OBP I ran:

{OK} Set-all-defaults
{OK} reset-all

Try to install again Solaris 10, got the same error, then I attach a T3 array via fiber optics, the Solaris installation found the T3 array and install the OS there without problems, but one time that the installation ends and the 4500 reboot, it says:
"Fast Data Access MMU Miss"
And Solaris don't boot

I already search about it on this forum and internet and no solution found yet, but I am dummie so I that is the reason why I am getting problems.

Someone can give directions on how I can solve the problem ?

I appreciatte, thanks a lot!!!

Check your OBP version. Could cause an issue (only problem with this is you might need a Solaris 8 or 9 installed to update the OBP)

Latest OBP version:
The version 103346-30 of flash-update contains the following rev
of the firmware:

    CPU/Memory Board:
	OBP 3.2.30 2002/10/25 14:03
	POST 3.9.30 2002/10/25 14:04

    IO Graphics Board:
	I/O Type 1 FCODE 1.8.30 2002/10/25 14:02
	iPOST 3.4.30 2002/10/25 14:03

    IO Graphics \+ Board:
	I/O Type 2 FCODE 1.8.30 2002/10/25 14:02
	iPOST 3.4.30 2002/10/25 14:03

    Dual PCI IO Board:
	I/O Type 3 FCODE 1.8.30 2002/10/25 14:02
	iPOST 3.0.30 2002/10/25 14:03

    Dual Sbus IO Board:
	I/O Type 4 FCODE 1.8.30 2002/10/25 14:02
	iPOST 3.4.30 2002/10/25 14:03

    Dual Sbus \+ IO Board:
	I/O Type 5 FCODE 1.8.30 2002/10/25 14:03
	iPOST 3.4.30 2002/10/25 14:03

There is also mention of an issue with Solaris 10u7_05 giving a 'Fast Data Access MMU Miss' error - fix is to use Solaris 10u7_08 (and above one would assume).

Thanks RTM for your response, I am downloading the Solaris 10 u8 I will install it tomorrow, hope this fix the problem, I'll post the results as soon as I finish.

RTM thanks for your help!

I already fix the problem, I was able to install solaris 10 on Enterprise 4500 on the local SCSI drives (Not at T3), the problem was a SCSI cable between the card that hold both hard drives and a card with SCSI, fiber and network connections, I was thinking that if the Hard Disk is installed on a board, that the board has pins to connect inside the main board for the E4500 should be enough, but I miss to connect the external SCSI cable, the reason why I didn't suspect about that is because on Dell servers or other common marks that has a device inside no cable is requiered, but for SUN on Enterprise 4500 the answer is yes.

I am learning so, please give me a chance, je je je best regards!!!!
