Solaris 10, CDROM issue!!!!

I have Sun Solaris 10 (x86 based). I installed Solaris through CDROMs by booting the system through CDs only. But now when I try to use the same CDROM, it ejects out CD after few seconds, the CDROM blinks as long as the CD is in. But it throws it out. I tried killing and restarting "VOLD". Also bye forcebly unmounting "/vol". It is really very troublesome as I want to install Oracle over it. I desperatly need help over this.

Hoping for a positive response.

Thanks & Regards

normally when the drive ejects the media by itself indicates CDROM drive may be physically having a problem.

As I have mentioned, I have already installed Solaris through this CDROM without any problem. Anyway CDROM has no issue to itself. There is something wrong or missing within Solaris.

Please reply.

I was faced by the same problem while insatlling oracle. The best thing is to copy if not all, 2nd and 3rd CDs on your hard drive and then one first CD is done change the path by clicking on browse button... thats what you can do incase of Oracle.
Let me know if that helped a bit (I am sure you tried: eject cdrom)
