solaris 10 bootloader

Hi, I'm new to solaris and I have a question about installing solaris 10.
Does solaris during install create a /boot partition?
And if it does, is it possible to set the bootloader on this partition or will it always be on the MBR?

Take it your installing on a x86 hardware?

Yes I want to install on an x86 machine and I want to keep windows as the default ( for my family). I am currently using fedora core3.
The previous time I was playing around with operating systems I had a few crashes with data loss for the rest the family. I think they will kill me if this happens again.
