Hello,
I am working on patching several systems and have begun working with smpatch as a possibly quicker way to accomplish patching. I have some observations that trouble me.
The "smpatch analyze" only shows a small number of patches for a system (yes the registration is complete with a current support contract). But if I run the recommended patch bundle install It installs 60+ additional patches than what smpatch indicated needed to be installed.
Why is smpatch so different from the recommended patch bundle.
Also when registering for smpatch using sconadm in a full root zone (non-global) it appears that smpatch will not run. I get a message "BR will only run in global zone. Exiting..."
Can smpatch run in a non-global full root zone?
