... are you running this on a PC? It will not run on Redhat.
Use WinSCP :: Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows and read the section on scripting (command line mode).
am running from windows machine to access unix server in secure mode. so is it possible to change this to secure mode. coz no ftp service active.
ftp and sftp are not related services. You will have to start the ssh service on the redhat server (normally port 22.)
