setting a route in Solaris

I am having problems getting this to work, though it seems like it would be simple. I have a host with 2 interfaces, hme0 (192.168.0.132) for the primary interface, and hme1 (192.168.0.16) for backups. I want it to talk to the backup host, which is 192.168.0.21, across the hme1 interface.

Thanks

Normally I've seen it put on a different subnet (so as to insure it goes across the correct interface/subnet) but setting a host route may help:

/usr/sbin/route add -host 192.168.0.21 192.168.0.16 1

I've been looking at how to install my D-Link NIC and I just can't make it work. I checked the DLINK Homepage but it wasn't very helpful, could someone please tell me how to configure my NIC on my Solaris x86 box, I got a DFE 530TX+
