Hi all,
i am phasing one problem yesterday.when i was login into sun server with my user id, i am trying to execute unix commands but the server responce is very slow. the command result will give after 5-10 min. i checked /var,/tmp and /export/home file system also.every thing is normal utilization percent only.
If anybody have idea regarding this issue please advise me. i would really thankful to all.

It sounds like your having performance issues or maybe a system problem. Have you checked the system logs?
what is the result of
uptime
dmesg
swap -l

The most likely thing I can think of is that the automouter has stopped functioning correctly for some reason, such as NFS automount being unavailbale, or the service simply being disabled.
can you login to the console and execute commands?
