I have a directory with a long list of files. I want to change their names such that
the first letter of the name of the author is capitalised.
I have tried the following command and did not get what I require.
rename 'y/......[a-z]/......[A-Z]/' *.pdf
2007--nystrom--Diss.pdf
2004--julien--Diss.pdf
2007--loconsole--Diss.pdf
2009--malayeri--Diss.pdf
2013--ravitch--Diss.pdf
2004--kahveci--Diss.pdf
2007--mattmann--Diss.pdf
2009--nistor--Diss.pdf
2013--ray--Diss.pdf
