Your question about learning to code in C. I think this is not a Linux question as such, it is more a general question. If you want to know more about C just use google to find out more. You can start at a website like http://www.cprogramming.com/ or just go to the bookshop and get yourself a starting guide, lock the door for 2 days and start learning. After 48 hours I think you can grasp the basic details of C coding.
