how can i change user permission on my ftp server from R to RW?
my ftp server is running on solaris 10,apache.

You can change the permissions accordingly to the user's home directory.
The group which he is in, should also allow RW perm.
after doing so, you can touch a file,eg fileA, then you type "getfacl fileA"
The perm and ownerships can be checked from there
