Problem with display

Hi all,

I have installed Solaris 10 on X-86. I installed successfully with all default installation parameters. After installation, when computer reboots, it doesn't come with display. Even screen sleeps without showing any error.

Can anyone tell what could be the problem?

Is the graphics card not compitable with the OS?

Any idea to enjoy with graphics would be much appreciable.

Thanks,
Deepak

would be nice to know what kind of graphic adapter you use... you can check the hcl on the sun homepage.
also try to change the graphic settings with the command "kdmconfig". to do so you have to boot to failsafe mode from grub boot menu and login as root.

Hi Deepak,

You can use "kdmconfig" command.
