Printer stopped working

I have a serial printer connected to a 16 port ran. All of a sudden my printer stopped working and not sure how to get it back. Can anyone help pint me in the write direction?

lsdev -Cc printer gives me the following. [Should this say available?]

lp1 Defined 0A-08-11-03 Other serial printer
lp2 Defined 0A-08-12-00 Other serial printer

What is your operating system? uname -a Also your printer daemon

This looks like AIX, and if so, the device is offline when the system came up.

Is there any relevant information in the output of errpt?

Correct this is AIX.
