Plan to shutdown servers

Hello everyone

I need to shutdown all my servers and my storage. I would like to hear your opinions about this.

This is my little plan about all this.

1.-Stop the applications
2.-Stop the webservers
3.-Stop the ihs
4.-Stop the databases
5.-Verify no process are running
6.-Close the partition
7.-Shutdown the server
8.-shutdown the controllers of the storage
9.-Shutdown the enclosures

My question is about if Im wrong in which step, I miss something.

I need to power off all my servers and my storage.

My servers are 550 power5 570 power6 and the storage its a DS4500.

Thanks for your comments

Not sure what the difference between the webservers and ihs are since ihs is a webserver but if you have something else acting as a webserver then that works as well.
Just so we are clear;
6.-Shutdown the partition
7.-Power down managed system- with the understanding you only have the one LPAR on that managed system.

I can't speak for your DS4500 as we have 8300's here and IBM is responsible for shutting them down when we have a power down. Obviously make sure your storage is back up and online before bringing your partition back up.
