I dont have AIX or hardware support with IBM
SAS & hdd firmware are upto date.
Have 5 disk in Raid5 promoting as hdisk0 whcih assigned to Roovg
The Pdisk1 is failed, After removing & replacing with new disk (via diag-> hotplug)as per IBM procedure still its showing.
when we run the cfgmgr, the same pdisk1 detects with the same serial number not the new disk details.
I check the ODM after remove the pdisk1 completedly from ODM (rmdev -Rdl pdisk1).
So i inserted the new HDD in spare slot to see if it detecting & it did(as Pdisk5), but now i cant add that disk to the raid nor remove the pdisk1 from Raid.
After i run rmdev -Rdl Pdisk1, in Raid disk status it shows as pdisk1 as unknown.
After i run cfgmgr i see the status of disk as failed.
I tried reconstruct array
