nic card undetectable in solaris X86

Hi All,
I am unable to detect NIC card in solaris 10 installed on X86 system after installation, every thing is installed properly, i have check bios settings in which it is detectable.

I suspect we have selected NETWORKED option as NO during installation. How to conform whether we have selected NO, is there any file to search for configuration.

If i select NO for NETWORKED option during installation does NIC card is not visible to OS.

If yes how should i make it available to OS after installation.
Also there is no instance loaded in /etc/path_to_inst file no configuration information in prtconf -v

have a look at the output of dladm show-dev . if you can't see a nic in the output, you might need a special driver for your nic.

i dont see nic card itself neither in path_to_inst file nor in prtconf or prtdiag, there is no output for dladm show-dev

so the second part of my first post maybe your solution...

i have a question does selecting no to networked option during install will not detect NIC card in OS

No. Selecting "NO" to networking during installation only leaves the system without network configuration. Network cards are being detected.
