Hello Guys,
I just join the unix world today, I had my first lesson on unix today. So expect so much questions from me the next time I log in.

Thanks

Pls is there any difference btw Linux and Unix? Or is Linux an example of a Unix OS?

Thanks.

Welcome and we hope to have a lot of your questions.

Linux is NOT unix. Linux does not use the SCO UNIX (Bell Labs original System V) kernel. There are many other differences which separate linux from unix such as ufs vs ext filesystems.
