Need help to setup Spacewalk

Hello,

I am working onto setup a spacewalk as our centralized repository and kickstart server for our all centos servers. We have almost 60-70 servers running inhouse which all are on CentOS 5 or 6 x64.
I am able to setup a spacewalk server on CentOS 6.5 x64 and able to access the console as well.

But the issue is that i am not able to setup repository over here. I tried to create channel and repository and after sync Now the repo is not downloading packages on spacewalk and due to this issue am stuck in between and seeking help to resolve the same.

If somebody let me know that i am missing in configuration here.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I am able to sync the repo using below command

rhnreg_ks --force --serverUrl=http://10.1.0.54/XMLRPC --activationkey=1-7efbfe85cfa3****************** (Obscured by RBATTE1)

But i am curious to know about why the Sync Now is not working from GUI console.

After the above issue i am stuck on updating the client machine from Spacewalk server.
I will post you a further logs for your reference.

Probably one for Red Hat directly. I presume that you are paying for the patching service, so use them.

Please do not post sensitive information, such as your registration key as it exposes Red Hat to misuse and therefore us to criticism for sharing it. You wouldn't publish the data to 3D-print a key for your house given that someone unscrupulous may also find out where you live, would you?

Regards,
Robin

Thanks for the updates.

This is a free version and i am using this for centos. I am using centos repos for patching and updating the system.

Redhat owned satellite which is a paid one.

Somehow i was able to resolve this issue after installing ant* and java* (or jdk*) packages on the server.

Thanks for your quick responses.

Thanks for the update...
