Need help in changing the subnet mask

Hi,

I have a task to edit the subnet mask in almost 100+ solaris servers.Few of the servers are configured with IPMP.There will be no change of IP address or default gateway. If its a single IP we can bring NIC down, change the subnet mask in /etc/netmasks,then bring the NIC back to normal. But with IPMP I'm not sure of the procedure. Can someone help me on this?

Regards,
Raj

Its the same for IPMP based, as far as I know and I have done IP changes for relocation projects, including creating new IPMP links out of existing single interface

You'll also want to make sure your hostname.xxx files do not specify a subnet in their ifconfig statements, or make the required changes there as well.

it so simple in ICMP - with command "netmark + " in your ICMP configuration file, your subnet mark will be fill automatic from /etc/netmarks
