Seeking information on the following and perhaps a bit of insight and opinions:
I would like to look into using NDMP to backup a disk array using NetBackup 7.5 to HP B6200 StoreOnce Backup System (i.e. Virtual Tape Library) as well as physical tape library.
Does anyone think it's a worthwhile possibility to use for backup?
Anything else you may provide an opinion regarding this.
Another option I have is to use EMC's Networker to backup our new array using NDMP. Does anyone have any opinion wether this is a good idea or not?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am trying to research some options. My only experience so far has been NetBackup 7.5 runnning on HP-UX 11.31 and HP's B6200 StoreOnce system.
