Does anyone have any simple methods for moving a current logical volume from one volume group to another? I do not wish to move the data from one physical volume to another. Basically, I want to "relink" the logical volume to exist in a different volume group. Any ideas?
This is not possible, because PVs are either part of one VG or another. To "move" the LV between would therefore mean to physically put it from one PV to another and this means: recreate it and copy the content.

only cplv command can copy lv from one vg to another......
