please provide me with the steps to restore from mksysb tape. i m using AIX 5.3 TL 7
you can boot from the tape and then restore the mksysb.
to boot from the tape there are two ways
thru SMS or change the boot order thru diag
also you can insert the tape and restore files / filesystems from smitty -> storage devices ....
