Hello - I am FTPing file from remote unix box to my unix box.
I am FTPing file around 2AM. some time, the complete fle is not ftping.. I am missing data in the FTP file. It happens few times in a month. Whenever, i miss the data, the file size is always 60106. The actual file size is not that big. What could be the reason.... Any help is highly appreciated...
are both the unix box are of same flavor, i mean redhat linux, suse like that. ?
They are same unix flavour.. We are ftping several files from that box. I have only problem on specific extract file...
Try setting the transport mode to bin. Binary.
If this is a dialup line there may be noise causing problems. It may also be that your source file has holes in it - if you know what those are.
