Map EFI Internal Bootable DVD

Hi, I try to get hands on my new RX2600 HP Servers.

For the cold installation of the HP-UX OS the mapping to the
Internal Bootable DVD is gone in the EFI Shell.

ON one of my two HP RX2600 Servers the entry stays there:

EFI Boot Manager ver 1.10 [14.61] Firmware ver 2.31 [4411]
Please select a boot option
    HP-UX Primary Boot: 0/1/1/0.0x1.0x0
    EFI Shell [Built-in]
    Internal Bootable DVD
    Netboot
    Boot Option Maintenance Menu
    System Configuration Menu

Use ^ and v to change option(s). Use Enter to select an option

But in my other Server the "Internal Bootable DVD" entry ist gone.
How to get the entry back, so that I can install from a HP-UX DVD.

cheers...

I have old information on this, but supposedly the EFI boot manager should automatically scan for bootable devices prior to presenting you with the boot menu. Assuming you used the same DVD on both systems and one lists the DVD at bootable and one does not, I would surmise that the problem may lie with the DVD player itself of the system that does not list the DVD as bootable when the Installation DVD is installed.

If you select the EFI shell, check the output of "map -r". If you do not see a CDROM or DVD there, then there is probably something wrong with the DVD hardware.
